If this was fixed up the mod would be near PERFECT. For example: with a 6x periscope setting, a 25M target height (mast or whatever) should give a range of 2000 meters at 50mils. I have one issue (having used it with GWX3 only) is the Whiz-wheel on the periscope is not accurate for range. The attention to detail with Ahnenerbe is outstanding. to get THE SH3 received from STEAM to run on Win10 with GWX and further mods.

Second, the Pacific is just so huge! The first part of the outward trip there is longer than even this unusual setup, and you have to do it every time. Now, some : Silent Hunter IV takes place in the Pacific theatre as Tom mentioned as such, it's of much less relevance to me (I'm from Poland) than U-Boats.
